Once upon a time in rainy Cheshire….
So the weather wasn’t our friend yesterday but that didn’t matter as Emma & Bill had THE best day at the wonderful Owen House Barn. With its quirky wooden decor and attentive staff, nothing could go wrong. This venue is made for days like this. Their outdoor/indoor space is equipped with the most perfect backdrop without even setting foot outside of the barn.
I joined Emma and her bridesmaids in the beauty shed for a very relaxed and fun bridal prep. Hair and make up flowed perfectly with the help of a little sushi and bucks fizz!
The ceremony was held in the bespoke ceremony room, lit by hundreds of fairly lights and lanterns. Emma’s dress was absolutely stunning with it’s long train and beautiful beading detail.
Excited guests couldn’t wait to congratulate the new Mr & Mrs Wellings.
A handful of formal group shots were taken by the hay barn, and I took the time to introduce the newlyweds to the brand new ‘shooting gallery’. This area is exclusively made for bride, groom and photographer. The perfect space to grab 5 minutes away from the wedding madness and have some portraits.
The guest were treated to a delicious ‘sharing’ menu by the fabulous ‘Vanilla in Allseasons’ after some very emotional speeches.
Evening celebrations kicked off with the help of live band ‘The jukebox band’ and I’m pretty sure the dance floor would have been jam packed all night!
Emma & Bill, you guys were SO much fun…Thank you for having me and here are your highlights..x
